How it feels to be underappreciated

How it feels to be underappreciated
In life everyone needs to be appreciated from time to time. Sometimes just knowing people appreciate you is the greatest reassurance and feeling you can have. In this blog I will talk about the darker side of appreciation and what happened to me when I wasn’t aware if I was appreciated or not.

It’s something I was always scared to ask people because I didn’t know what would happen or if things would become so awkward. I was always the guilty one who hid what they wanted to ask because they didn’t want to get in the way. I was always the one who stayed quiet in the corner until I was spoken to. I’ve since learned that speaking up no matter how terrified you are is the best way forward and you learn the truth and can feel so much better over it. Feeling unappreciated is such a horrific feeling and I am so glad I am done with feeling that way because I have a girlfriend now who always shows how much she appreciates me. If people don’t show that they appreciate you very often, leave them be because you deserve someone who always makes sure you know you’re appreciated. I went through so many people but I am so glad I did because if you don’t move on when you need to you will never find the people you need.
I was so unhappy and lacking confidence and under appreciation caused this. I wasted so many months on the wrong people and I’m sure some of you have too. I recommend moving on as quick as possible and even if you are upset at losing people, get to know new people and you’ll be better off for it. Even if it takes you going through and losing 1000 people it’ll be worth it in the end as you can’t get it right all the time and I definitely got it wrong on so many occasions. Anyways I hope you have enjoyed my blog and my experiences on being under appreciated.
Always remember to find the right people for you by looking everywhere you can. You deserve to be happy and not worrying about how much people appreciate you. Don’t waste time on those who don’t show you appreciation.

  1. I love this post! Learning to speak your mind is hard – but it’s the best feeling when you do. You know your worth, you respect yourself – kudos to you! Keep on being you!
