My weekly thoughts-13/5/18
Hey, guys, I am back with another blog and this one is another in the weekly thoughts series. I will discuss a few things such as a big change in my life, social media, my sleep pattern and more. If you guys have any thoughts or feelings regarding your week that you want to share then you can do so in the comments below. I’d love to know how your week has been and what you have planned for the week ahead.

Social media
I have had a fairly quiet week on social media in my opinion. I’ve had some great interaction with people though and that is always great. On the other hand, I feel like the quiet week is down to me at times. I am a major introvert and sometimes I shouldn’t be. I’m in the best position I’ve ever been on any social media and I’ve had the most drama-free period on it too. I guess I am just not used to having it that way as I haven’t really had a period like that before. Normally I have to deal with loads of shit that nobody should have to deal with. It’s weird having it quiet but I will get used to it eventually.
My Sleep Pattern
I have the most unusual sleep pattern ever in my opinion. I have slept at all sorts of time this week and it has lead to a lot of uncertainty. I’ve had to write this blog on the early hours of Saturday morning because I am so unsure whether I’d be awake close to when this blog will go live. The only plus this week regarding sleep is that I’ve actually a healthy amount of sleep for once. I’m usually the one who never sleeps but lately, I’ve reversed that. I guess the next step is to manage to sleep at the right times of the day especially because of what I have still to reveal in this blog.
My blogging
I’ve had an okay week when it comes to blogging. I’ve tried posting long blogs compared to my normal length and they have gone down pretty well going from the feedback throughout this week. The thing with doing longer blogs is that it’s way tougher than doing what I normally do. The amount of extra time I’ve had to spend on blog writing this week is utterly insane and it takes so much more thought and energy too in order to make sure that you don’t say the same thing twice or start to go off on a tangent.
I will keep trying to do blogs that are a bit longer as I feel that you guys have engaged with me more because there has been so much more information for you to read and process your own thoughts with. I will do this when I have the most time to write though and when I don’t have as much time I will keep my posts short and straight to the point. I feel like a bit of variation in length has helped me improve my writing and having a blog structure has helped me a lot too.
I have managed to get a week ahead with my writing too but this has been down to a great Friday. I have managed to write 4 blogs in 1 day for the first time ever and I am very happy with the production of each of them. They vary in length too and I managed to put in a great amount of time to them. I am very proud of my blogging right now and I hope you guys enjoy reading them.
The big surprise
I have known about this since Wednesday and instead of just talking about it on social media I wanted to hold off until I had written this blog to mention it. The big change in question is that I now have a new job that I start on Monday which is the day after this blog is released. It is a full-time job Monday to Friday, therefore, I will be pretty busy almost all of the time. I am unsure what it will mean for my blog but I will do my absolute best to make sure I keep up to date with blog posts and still produce the amount of content that I do just now.
I am so happy to be back in work though because I felt like I was so bored while unemployed. I have so much to offer and I hope that this job goes far better than my last one. The interview last week has definitely shown me that if I give my all I will be good and last a long time in this job. I am so confident in my own ability and I can’t wait to get started.
My week overall
I feel like I had a good week, to be honest. Despite all of the sleep problems, nothing else went wrong so that can only be a good thing. I just want to get started with this job now and next week I will be able to discuss it in my weekly thoughts. I have next week’s blog content written already too except my weekly thoughts which I can’t write in advance anyway so I am happy with my levels of organisation.

  1. Glad to hear you had a good week. Congratulations on the new job 🙂 that’s amazing.
    I wouldn’t worry too much about always writing long blogs, I find when I’m reading a blog it’s nice to have different lengths. It keeps my brain interested.
    I feel you on social media! I’m also introverted with social anxiety, I’m still not 100% comfortable with posting on twitter/facebook etc and sometimes I feel like it’s hurting my engagement. But we’ll figure out a way that works for us and our blogs!
