Why I do this

Hey guys, I am back with a brand new blog post and this one is about why I chose to start blogging and why I still really give it my all in every single blog post. I have been blogging for over a year now and it’s been a whole lot of fun but I feel like I never discuss why it is like that for me. I am achieving what I want to do with my blog and in this specific post I will go on to say everything about why I do. I’d also love to know why you guys blog so feel free to leave the reasons in comments. Let’s get right into this blog.

The main reason I blog is something I have tweeted about on the odd occasion but I have never said much more than that. My main reason at first was to help others with their mental health. However, even though this is still one reason, the main one is to inspire others that no matter how much you struggle to put feelings into words, it is possible to do it if you let it happen naturally. I struggle massively with putting my feelings into words due to my Asperger’s Syndrome but over time I have begun to get pretty good at it. A big reason for this is that I stopped caring what other people think so I just say things without thinking of the consequences.

This can be dangerous at times as people don’t always react well to what I say but it’s not your problem at the end of the day. You should be able to express how you feel regardless of what it is and that is why I blog in the style that I do and act on social media the way I do. I find that being as openly honest as I am will drag me into drama caused by others who can’t handle the truth but the majority of people in the blogging world have been great and supportive as hell with me. The blogging community is a big help when it comes to keeping me going with my blog work and it’s impossible not to have fun when there are good people around.

I have now been blogging for a whole year and it’s been great speaking to new people and watching others succeed. I’m never gonna be one of the big bloggers who get millions of views but I am totally okay with that. I just want the audience I have to enjoy the content that I put out there and take inspiration from it. I don’t have the most amount of time to put into blog writing but I feel like I can still do so much with the time that I do have. Knowing this takes so much pressure of off me when creating new posts. I always know I’ve picked a topic that I want to discuss and I’ve always put 100% effort into writing the new post.

This has been more about why I blog guys. I’d love to know why you chose to blog in the comments and I’d also love to know what you think of my content. Thank you for reading and supporting as always. Have a great day.

  1. The one thing that I LOVE about blogging is that it’s so unique to each of us. I blog because I find it easier to express myself in writing than speaking. And I also enjoy the community and friendships I’ve made through blogging 😊

  2. The effort you put into your posts shows, and how much you enjoy blogging really comes through, too. I blog for a lot of the same reasons, but having a genealogy blog specifically helps me figure out where I need to do more research and forces me to compile my info. It’s great motivation!
