10 tips for new bloggers

Hey guys, I am back with a new blog and this one is a little help guide for new bloggers. I wish I had a lot more help when I first started to blog and I know how daunting it is to start blogging and fit into a massive community that new people join every single day. I would also love to know what you think of my blog in the comments as well as tips that you would give new bloggers in 2019. Let’s get right into the blog.

Here are my tips below guys:

  • Have fun
  • Connect with other bloggers
  • Blog about what you enjoy writing about
  • Don’t be afraid to follow other bloggers first on social media
  • You don’t need a niche to be successful
  • Quality over quantity when writing new posts
  • Avoid follow trains on social media because people become inactive on your blog very quickly
  • Engagement with other bloggers will make you learn things faster
  • Follow/unfollow tactics are a massive no
  • Your blog, your rules

These have been my tips guys. I would love to know what you think of them and also what you think of my blog. If you have any tips of your own feel free to add them to the comments. Have a great day.

  1. You don’t need a niche to be successful- great tip! Almost every tips for beginners article you read is on niche, picking it, narrow it down, target audience. And yes those are important, however the other tips you have, your blog your rules and have fun don’t always fit in a niche!

  2. I think the most important thing is two things, to write about what you’re passionate about, and the other thing is to engage (like you said) with other bloggers! It’s made the blogging experience so much more enjoyable overall, and it’s literally what i recommend to others myself. Great post xxx

  3. Great tips! I think that engaging with other bloggers is so important, and could probably be covered in a post on its own. I’d love to read more of your thoughts on how to go about it. Thank you for sharing!

  4. As a new blogger, I really appreciated this! Especially the “you don’t have to have a niche” part. I’m just writing to write honestly. And the fact that people are interested in what I have to say does make me feel like I have some pressure on me. I’m trying, though, to not focus on all of that and just continue writing what and how I want to.

    Best and well wishes!

  5. Thanks for sharing. I am a new blogger and find this very helpful. I would agree with your tips and would say that engaging with other bloggers is important. If you don’t read other people’s blogs and leave comments, share posts etc then don’t expect that back. I think you just write about whatever you like and dont get bogged down too much with what other people are doing. If you enjoy it then it will show in your writing and dont ever feel guilty about having a break.

    1. Yeah that’s good. A lot of people just use them to benefit themselves and not return the support so it put me off of them
